I made this from a tutorial on the web and I'll cook (boil water) with this little thing. I'll test it on the AT during the fitpacking trip in October.



Had a great 3 days visiting the Smoky Mountain National Park and environs. Tested my new backpack and hiking in Teva Hurricane XLT sandals on very wet/rocky/rooty Alum Cave trail. The ULA Circuit pack was comfortable and much to my surprise the Tevas did well on the slippery rocks, roots, and very wet trail. A little snippet of Cabin #9 atop Mt. LeConte; we love this place !!!!

Just a little view of the descent after 1/2 inch of rain the night before.

Perfect day to walk the 1/2 mile paved path to Clingman's Dome for the view.
